Please include the issue, device type, profile name, story or historical figure if relevant, and whether the issue involves a private story, Across Time, Historical Figures text or voice, microphone permission, transcript, Curator's Pick, purchase, credit balance, source note, audio, image, pause, unpause, or deletion request.

Story Or Source Concerns

If a story seems inaccurate, poorly sourced, too mature for the selected level, unclear about what is fact versus imagination, or inconsistent with family content settings, contact support with the story title and concern.

AI can make mistakes. Parents should review story text, sources, and Truth & Imagination notes before approving audio or images.

Purchases And Credits

Subscriptions and credit purchases are handled through Apple In-App Purchase. If a subscription does not appear, use Restore Purchases in Family or restart a plan from Settings while the account is paused.

Use Manage Apple Subscription in Settings, or Apple's purchase support, for cancellation, billing refunds, or Apple account billing history. Learning Through Stories can review whether a verified transaction granted credits in the app.

Privacy Or Deletion Requests

For privacy questions, story deletion requests, or Curator's Pick publication concerns, email support@learningthroughstories.com.

Parents can pause app access after Apple confirms renewal is off, or close a profile's private server-side app data, from Settings. Family-created stories are private by default. Public publication requires parent submission, admin review, and final parent approval.

Safety

The app uses age-level guardrails and parent controls for sensitive historical topics such as battles, tragic endings, infamous figures, religious conflict, and mysteries.

Historical Figures answers must remain within the selected approved evidence pack. Ages 6-8 use reviewed questions only, ages 9-12 require parent permission for typing and have no microphone, and voice begins at 13 only for eligible conversational figures. Named morally complicated rulers use Examined Conversation at 13+ with a Historian's Note. Restricted harmful figures use a neutral History Guide, central sacred figures use a neutral Sacred History Guide, and sensitive witnesses or children receive additional review.
